He earned a law degree from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in 1990. He then went on to earn his master's degree in Technology Applied to the Arts from NYU in 1992. He was originally going for theater but switched to the more computer science focused program after he saw his first 'digital picture' in Photoshop. He spent over a decade in NYC and now lives in Berlin.
